Este curso provê o conhecimento básico para implementar switches SAN da família Cisco MDS 9000. O aluno aprenderá como fazer a configuração inicial de startup bem como configurar Virtual SANs (VSANs), domínios, interfaces e zonas. Saberá também como implementar PortChannels e recursos básicos de segurança. Nos laboratórios desenvolverá aptidão para fazer troubleshooting básicos com o equipamento. Será ensinado também como configurar os equipamentos numa arquitetura de alta disponibilidade incluindo extensão de SAN com protocolo FCIP. Nos laboratórios, o aluno configurará o switch realizar o upgrade de software desde a configuração inicial do equipamento além de realizar o upgrade de software.
